Tweed Heads Memorial Gardens maintains strong links with our local community, especially seniors who have come from other parts of Australia to retire on the beautiful far north coast of NSW.

Our special association is with the Tweed Heads-Coolangatta RSL, a wonderful organisation that helps us to honour Australia’s service men and women.

A feature of our plaques is the extensive use of picture-style designs to represent your loved one’s employment, armed service, nationality, denomination, club membership, sporting interest, and favourite pastime.

Our ANZAC Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Services are popular events that have become landmark days for people to gather and pay respects as a community. These services are held to offer families a place to come to reflect and to remember and honour the memory of those we have lost.

Upcoming Events at Tweed Heads Memorial Gardens will be posted below.

ANZAC Day

We host a special Anzac Day service each year at our purpose-built cenotaph. This is a sacred place where we can all honour those men and women who fought or died for their country. Please join us for our annual Remembrance Service that honours the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served Australia.

Mother’s Day

Tweed Heads Memorial Gardens hosts an annual Mother's Day remembrance service in our chapel. This is a time to reflect and remember your loved one on this day. Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion.

Father’s Day

Tweed Heads Memorial Gardens hosts a memorial service that honours the men missing from each year’s Father’s Day celebrations. When a family is missing a father, grandfather or father-figure, a day like Father’s Day can be sombre instead of joyous.
